Grief Supporter Holiday Tip #4: Offer to help them write and address holiday cards.

Grief Supporter Holiday Tip 4

The holidays come with a list of tasks that can overwhelm most people. When grieving, it can feel even worse. Offering to help them with holiday cards is a specific thing you can do to make their life easier. This may be the first time that they are addressing the cards just from themselves and not also their partner. Or, it may remind them that their family member will not be receiving a card this year. This can be so challenging to do when grieving! Of course, they may not be interested in writing holiday cards at all this year. That is okay! Maybe there is another task with which you could offer your help.

Please remember this is one suggestion for how to help support those in grief for the holidays. Please feel free to review more of our tips here in our Blog section. And, always remember, you don’t have to journey alone…even as a supporter!
