When grieving, you need as much support as you can get. Unfortunately, not everyone in your life will be able to or willing to offer the support needed. There can be a variety of reasons why that may be, and you may never know those reasons. Not much that can be done to convince people in your life to be a supporter beyond asking them. However, what you can do is work on spending more time with those who are supportive and less time with those who are not. It can help reserve your energy for grieving and other important things you need to do.
